What is the best class in Aion 2 right now?
In patch 1.6.0 the Sorcerer leads PvE damage even after the Flame Bolt nerf, while the Assassin and Ranger dominate PvP. Templar and Cleric remain must-picks for raids. See the tier list for the full ranking.
What does "build" mean in Aion 2?
A build is the combination of skill levels, stigma stones, gear, manastones and stat priorities you choose for your class. The same class can play very differently depending on its build, especially between PvE and PvP.
Should I use a different build for PvE and PvP?
Yes. PvE builds stack raw damage stats like Power and Magic Boost, while PvP builds need PvP Defense, Health and crowd-control resistance. Most players keep two gear sets and swap stigmas between content.
Which stats matter most?
Hit your Accuracy or Magic Accuracy target first, otherwise your damage misses. After that, stack your primary damage stat, then Crit. Every build page lists the exact stat order.
How often are these builds updated?
We review every build within a week of each balance patch and mark the patch version on each guide. The Patch Notes page shows which builds changed and why.
What is the best class for beginners?
Gladiator is the most forgiving: plate armor, simple rotation and strong AoE. Cleric is a good second choice if you prefer healing and always want to find a group quickly.
